Bernadette has founded Wabibi Pads to tackle the issue of period poverty among teenage girls and women through the production of economically and environmentally friendly low-cost reusable sanitary pads and wet bags. 

Bernadette and her team have supplied over 4000 packs of pads during their pilot to schools, NGOs and local dwellers with Kampala and other districts of Uganda
