Ahafo Water Seeds Programme, Ghana
Follow this unique opportunity in water entrepreneurship in the Ahafo region of Ghana! Our ideation programme invites individuals aged between 18-30 to come together as teams and shape or refine their business ideas !
The ideation programme includes:
- A hackathon from April 2nd to April 4th
- Training sessions conducted via phone spanning over several months
- A four-day on-site bootcamp for the selected teams
- Mentorship and coaching
- Networking opportunities
The first week of April was intense for the YWS team with our inaugural water hackathon held in Ghana, specifically focused on the Ahafo region. Over 3 days, 48 young people demonstrated remarkable commitment and seriousness. We are proud to announce that 5 teams were selected to receive funding of USD 500 to launch their prototypes.
Next step will be the Bootcamp in Accra on June 3rd !
