The Activation & Ideation stage is mostly done through Hackathons, online, hybrid or in person events that aim to provide elements to help teams of young people come up with innovative business ideas that address WASH issues.
The format of the Hackathons is as follows:
- 3-days workshops consisting of sessions about understanding the problem & creating, validating and presenting the solution (business idea)
- Up to 1,000€ grants for prototyping
- Coaching and follow up during the idea implementation
We believe and invest in young talents in the water sector before anyone else does. This has been the case for 67% of our successful businesses, that we started supporting at ideation stage.
