Eve’s business, Eco Sanitary Uganda,make Eco Uga Pads: ecological, re-usable and washable sanitary pads made from banana pseudo stems acting as the absorbent material, complemented by Macintosh paper to prevent leakages. During the pilot phase, Eve is setting up the manufacturing workshop and testing prototypes of the pads with user groups before commercializing her product.
