Isabel is the founder of Crustatec Biomar, a social business that manufactures water filters for the textile industry using a polymer made from discarded shrimp shells that can filter out dyes in wastewater. Isabel’s YWF Pilot consisted of testing and improving the polymer and filter with textile companies and local artisans in Guatemala.
