Mary is the co-founder of Maji Mtaani, an organisation that rehabilitates previously saline boreholes by setting up water kiosks with desalination systems to remove excess dissolved salts and minerals, making the water drinkable. Their YWF Pilot consists of setting up the first water kiosk in Kejiado, to serve an average of 400 families.
