Ndeye Fatou Sene and her co-founder Antoinette Diatta have developed Izio: a water kiosk installed in the Bambey region. The kiosk filters the non-drinking water distributed by the network and offers 10 to 20L bottles of water to the inhabitants. Izio also raises awareness among the students of the neighboring campus as well as the tontines (women’s groups) about the dangers of untreated water and water from neighboring wells, which cause many health problems. The kiosk is very popular with the students of the Bambey campus as well as with the surrounding families. It has provided drinking water to more than 500 beneficiaries.
