Currently, DEL is developing an automated portable filter that can purify surface water using UF technology. The Dreamwater Portable Filter (DPF, Version-2) is also a business model with which DEL is empowering marginalized women and youth by providing them the opportunity of being entrepreneurs. Indeed, they get the Dreamwater Portable Filter for free and then sell the clean water to local communities. During their pilot, they’ve worked with 10 entrepreneurs with the capacity to commercialize 1,50,000 liters of clean drinking water.
