Majipreneurs summit in Kampala

Throwback to the Majipreneurs Summit co-organized by Young Water Solutions in Uganda

On the 2nd and 3rd of February, YWS co-organized and participated in the Majipreneurs Summit whose ambitious goal was to shape the future of Uganda’s WASH entrepreneurship ecosystem

YWS partnered with Viva con Agua, WASEU and cewas to give life to this 2-day summit.
With 120 participants, this summit has made great connections between stakeholders of the WASH ecosystem. We are proud to have seen our Fellows pitching their social businesses on stage. Hard work and commitment to greater good have led these young entrepreneurs to significant results, contributing to #sdg6

The Majipreneurs summit also included a Hackathon in order to create a new batch of WASH business ideas to ensure the successors of the current entrepreneurs. This is aligned with the new strategy of Young Water Solutions to develop the whole entrepreneurial pipeline.
